First chair to first cork.
Start simple: ride the park, feel a few takeoffs, then add rotation. WASD controls spin and flip; horizontal arrows add air roll.

How points work
Spin more. Grab it. Land clean. Keep going.
1. Spin more
3601,5007206,000108013,500Every extra turn pays a lot more: a 720 is worth 4 times a 360. Flips count as turns too.
2. Grab it
Hold a grab key in the air for 0.25 s and the trick pays ×1.25. Hold it 1 second for the full grab bonus. Two different grabs in one air: ×1.3.
3. Land clean
Land with your skis straight: +450 and +15% of your line. Land sideways and you still keep at least 50%. Crash and the line is gone.
4. Keep the line going
Jumps and rails one after another make a line. Each one after the first adds ×0.25: three in a row pay ×1.5. Land on the snow to bank it.
5. Mix it up
The same trick again pays less: 75%, then 55%, then 40%. Spin the other way, ride switch or pick another flip, and it pays in full again.
Rails, butters and more
- Rails: 750 a second on the bar, and 450 for every swap or hop.
- Butters on the snow: 300 for a 180, 600 for a 360. Only your first 4 butters in a run score.
- Switch: ×1.25 on spin points. Upside down: +15% every time.
- Air time: +135 a second, and +36 a metre of height.
- Corks, bios, rodeos and mistys start at the lip: hold the spin with the flip within 0.25 s of take-off.
- Small hops on flat snow and quick button taps don’t count.
Your first run
- Pick Solo or Multiplayer. Choose your kit in the Locker, then press RIDE and pick a park on the map.
- Take the gondola. Enjoy the ride or press F to fast travel. Ski out when you reach the top.
- Find a kicker. You gain speed downhill. Hold Space before the lip and release to add pop; the kicker can also launch you without a manual jump.
- Try a spin. Hold A or D in the air. Release to let the motion settle and prepare for landing.
- Finish the run. Review your total score, watch the replay or take another lap.
Keyboard controls
These are the game’s own keys. Change any key, or any button on an Xbox or PlayStation controller, in Settings → Controls; signed in, they follow you to every device.
| Input | Action |
|---|---|
| A / D | Carve / spin Spin with S for a cork, with W for a bio, with ← or → for a flatspin, set together at the lip: a spin added later only tilts the flip. |
| ← / → | Air roll Roll around the skis’ forward axis: alone a sideflip, with a spin a flatspin that lies flat. |
| W | Pole / tuck · frontflip in the air Hold for speed. In the air, starts toward the rider’s front, also switch or after a 180. |
| S | Brake · backflip in the air In the air, starts toward the rider’s back, also switch or after a 180. Reversing first slows the existing flip. |
| ↑ + spin + flip | Rodeo / misty The feet go over the head: a rodeo with S, a misty with W. Tricks are judged from completed movement, not the key you held. |
| B | Arm nose / tail butter Hold B to keep your own air angle and prepare a contact: nose by default; press it together with S to select tail. A ski-end hit on snow loads the flex; A/D drives one half turn, with a little extra drift from your incoming spin. A press slows you and lasts up to 1.5 seconds; release earlier to rebound. Wait 1 second after it ends, then press B again. Too little impact gives no press; too much releases the press. Normal steering and air tricks remain available. Butter does not activate on rails or boxes. A loaded press held for at least 0.25 seconds while moving earns 150 points after landing, or 300 total for a butter 180. Repeats pay less. |
| SPACE | Load / pop Hold to load, release to jump. Kickers also launch you automatically. |
| SHIFT | Mute grab in the air Hold while airborne. Release to open up for landing. |
| Q / E | Tail / Japan grab Hold a grab 0.25s to count it. Held 1s it adds 25% rotation points, each other grab 5%. Release to open up. |
| ON A RAIL | A/D slides · SPACE pops off Rails carry you forward. Rotation continues off the end. |
| F | Skip gondola ride Arrive at the summit, ready to ski. |
| T | Chat (multiplayer) Enter sends, Esc closes. Hold Tab to see everyone on the mountain. |
| R | Restart run Hold R for 2 s to start the run again from the top. |
| ESC / P | Menu / pause Settings, controls and friends. Esc goes back one menu level. |
| CONTROLLER | Left stick: turn · right stick: air roll RT/RB: tuck/front · LT: brake/back · LS: butter · A: pop · LB: mute · X: tail · Y: Japan · B: rodeo/misty · MENU: pause · VIEW: hold to restart. Xbox buttons; change them in Settings → Controls. |
| REPLAY | SPACE plays · arrows seek · C camera Save a run from the results screen. Open it to export a video clip. |
Play with a controller
Xbox and PlayStation controllers work in the browser and in the Cork7 app for Mac and Windows. The easiest way is a USB cable; Bluetooth works too. Change any button in Settings → Controls, where a picture of your own controller shows what each button does.
On a Mac
- Easiest: plug it in with a USB cable. PS5 and Xbox Series controllers use USB-C; PS4 and older Xbox One controllers use micro-USB. That’s it: go to step 3.
- Or pair it over Bluetooth. PlayStation: hold Create (Share on a PS4 controller) and the PS button until the light flashes. Xbox: turn it on, then hold the small pair button on top until the Xbox button flashes fast. On the Mac, open System Settings → Bluetooth and click Connect next to the controller.
- Press any button with Cork7 open. Browsers only show a controller once a button is pressed. Then it shows up in Settings → Controls, with its own buttons in the picture.
On Windows
- Easiest: plug it in with a USB cable. Xbox and PlayStation controllers both work straight away. PS5 and Xbox Series controllers use USB-C; PS4 and older Xbox One controllers use micro-USB.
- Or pair it over Bluetooth. PlayStation: hold Create (Share on a PS4 controller) and the PS button until the light flashes. Xbox: turn it on, then hold the small pair button on top until the Xbox button flashes fast. On the PC, open Settings → Bluetooth & devices → Add device → Bluetooth and pick the controller. Older Xbox One controllers without Bluetooth need the cable or an Xbox Wireless Adapter.
- Press any button with Cork7 open. Browsers only show a controller once a button is pressed. Then it shows up in Settings → Controls, with its own buttons in the picture.
Not showing up? Click the game window and press a button again. If Steam is open, its controller settings can take the controller over: close Steam and try once more.
How do I do a cork?
A/D spins and W/S flips. Off the lip, hold a spin with S for a cork (leaning back), with W for a bio (leaning forward), or with the left/right arrows for a flatspin (lying flat); set them together at the lip, as a spin added to a flip later only tilts it. Hold the up arrow with the spin and the flip and your feet go over your head: a rodeo backwards, a misty forwards. The name at landing describes completed movement, including late spins. Hold Shift for mute, Q for tail or E for Japan; release to open up for landing.
How do rails work?
Ride or land onto a rail. The rail carries you forward, so braking will not stop you on it. A and D rotate the slide; hold and release Space to pop off with your momentum.
How do I play with friends?
Choose Multiplayer, press RIDE and pick a park to join a live room with other riders. Add friends in Friends to see where they ride and join them, or call a 1v1 on APEX or Big Air.
How do I save a clip?
At the finish, choose Watch replay. Use the clip controls to choose a section or the whole run and export a video. The latest five runs are saved automatically in this browser. Choose Save replay at the finish to keep a favourite. Videos are rendered on your device, ready to download.
Loading or performance trouble?
Use an up-to-date browser with hardware acceleration enabled. If the first download stalls, use Reload game on the loading screen. If the frame rate is low, choose Performance under Graphics in Settings. Your browser must support WebGL 2.
A keyboard on a desktop or laptop is recommended. On a touch device, use the on-screen controls; performance depends on your device. Read how local saves work before clearing browser data or moving to another device.
